MONOCEF SB 500,250MG INJECTION is a combination of Ceftriaxone and Sulbactam which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics. It is used in the treatment of infections of the brain (meningitis), lungs, middle ear, abdomen and abdominal wall (peritonitis), urinary tract and kidneys, bones and joints, skin or soft tissues, blood, and heart.

MONOCEF SB 500,250MG INJECTION can also be used to treat specific sexually transmitted infections (gonorrhoea and syphilis), patients with low white blood cell counts (neutropenia) who have fever due to bacterial infection, Lyme disease (caused by tick bites) and to prevent infections during surgery

MONOCEF SB 500,250MG INJECTION is not recommended for use in premature babies and new-born babies having jaundice. Before receiving MONOCEF SB 500,250MG INJECTION, inform your doctor if you have liver or kidney diseases, colitis, haemolytic anaemia, gall stones or kidney stones, upcoming surgeries, pancreatitis.

MONOCEF SB 500,250MG INJECTION should be used with caution in pregnancy and breast feeding. Contact your doctor before receiving. MONOCEF SB 500,250MG INJECTION is not recommended for use in premature babies. Contact your childs doctor.
